It’s safe to say that we’re all eagerly counting down the days until Phish takes up its thirteen-night residency at Madison Square Garden this summer. With Baker’s Dozen right around the corner, phans have been patiently waiting for sneak peeks into the latest artwork (or really more hints about the two-week run, period), and over the weekend, we got just that. Phans who ordered the thirteen-show Baker’s Dozen package through Phish Tickets By Mail have started receiving their tickets in their mail, and they’re truly something else.

The ticket package arrives in a fluorescent pink package, reminiscent of the pink boxes that Portland, Oregon’s Voodoo Donuts come packaged in and similarly proving true Voodoo Donut’s slogan that “Good things come in pink boxes.” On the outside, a Simpsons-esque font reads “The Baker’s Dozen” and the dates, as well as the name Phish, with the letter i diving through a stylized donut. Once the package opens, the top of the box reads “Glaze on” over a repeated donut print, while the real treat is below.

Inside the box are thirteen, unique donut-shaped tickets. Given the photos that were posted on Reddit yesterday, the tickets come folded, as each donut is drawn to have a bite taken out of it, exposing a bit of the barcode behind it. The donuts themselves are each unique, with bubble letters spelling out Phish and different glazes and sprinkles on each. You can take a look for yourself below. On top of that, some of the official artwork for the run has been released as well, including a graphic seemingly from the same artists that sports a five donuts fighting over lightning bolts. Folks are speculating that the artwork is via Brosmind Studios, and the resemblance is pretty clear. Others have pointed out that Brosmind also produced the artwork for Phish’s 2011 Summer tour as well as a Fall ’99 poster, highlighting that this guess is probably not too far off.

You can check out the artwork for yourself below to keep you satiated until Baker’s Dozen hits New York City from July 21st to August 6th this summer.
