Phish will debut their new album, Sigma Oasis, on Wednesday, April 1st via a listening party on Facebook, LivePhish, and SiriusXM Phish Radio.

During the “set break” of this week’s installment of archival webcast series, Dinner And A Movie, all four members of the band jumped on a video call to chat about how it feels observing a performance from the “audience,” show off their footwear (or lack thereof), ponder Trey’s “orientation,” and take a few moments to joke about how bad “Jennifer Dances” is. Amid the amusing back-and-forth, keyboardist Page McConnell broke the news that the new album, Sigma Oasis, will be debuted at a listening party on Wednesday. He stated that the band had gone up to its barn studio recently for a week of recording the new material and that they are excited to finally share it with fans. The album was finished just last week, but is now ready to share.

It may be worthwhile to note that tomorrow is April 1st, also known as April Fool’s Day. Given Phish’s penchant for pranks both big and small, there’s always a chance these jokesters are up to some mischief. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to find out.

Head to Phish’s Facebook page tomorrow at 9 p.m. ET to join in the listening party for the new album, Sigma Oasis.

Tune in to the rest of the re-broadcast of Phish’s 2014 “Tweezerfest” at Merriweather Post Pavilion below, or skip to the end of the first set to watch the band make the announcement:
