This past Friday and Saturday, June 1st and 2nd, Candler Park Music & Food Festival returned to Atlanta, GA’s Candler Park for another memorable weekend of standout musical performances, a food village featuring fare from local vendors and food trucks, an artist market, adult field games, a craft cocktail bar, and more.

While severe thunderstorms forced the festival to delay Friday’s start time and cancel scheduled sets by Grand and Larkin Poe, the weekend got off the ground running with Keller Williams‘ buzzed-about PettyGrass project, in which he reimagines the music of Tom Petty in bluegrass form with The Hillbenders. Friday headliners Lettuce followed, bringing the funk to close out day one on a strong note. On Saturday, the day’s lineup got underway with Busty and the BassWebsterSusto, and Twiddle. From there, Houndmouth and headliners Gov’t Mule hit the stage to cap a wonderful weekend of music.
