Marco Benevento stopped by Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA on Saturday during a Northeastern jaunt that also included two sold out shows at The Press Room in Portsmouth, NH and a Saturday matinee kids show.
Benevento and his trio featuring bassist Karina Rykman and drummer Chris Corsico returned to the road after having some time off following a whirlwind run of nine shows in nine days at the end of March. Since then, the keyboardist announced his Follow the Arrow Festival will return to Arrowood Farms in Accord, NY for its second annual installment on Saturday, June 17th with a lineup featuring Rubblebucket, The Barr Brothers, Scott Metzger, Benevento Family Band, and more. Last night, he kicked off a three-night run with Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at The Fillmore in New Orleans coinciding with Jazz Fest.
