Roger Waters continued the This Is Not A Drill Tour with a stop at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC on Thursday.

Having kicked off the tour in Pittsburgh back in July, the Pink Floyd guitarist arrived in Canada after playing shows in Portland, OR; Salt Lake City, UT; Denver, CO; Kansas City; and two nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Like previous shows of the tour, Waters performed in the round with a stacked backing band featuring Jonathan Wilson (guitar), Robert Walter (keyboards), Jon Carin (keyboards), Joey Waronker (drums), Gus Seyffert (bass), Seamus Blake (saxophone), and Dave Kilminster (guitar) in addition to backing vocalists Amanda Belair and Shanay Johnson.

Waters and company stuck to the usual This Is Not A Drill setlist furnished with a mix of Pink Floyd classics including “Comfortably Numb”, “Another Brick In The Wall” parts two and three, “Have A Cigar”, and “Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part VI–IX)”, as well as some newer solo tunes like “The Bar” and a few songs from 2017’s Is This the Life We Really Want?.

Despite taking place in Canada, the show maintained Waters’ usual aggressive rhetoric, with evocative and provocative images and overtly political messages incorporated into the world-class stage production.
