Stephen Marley loaded up his Babylon By Bus Tour for a stop at Asheville, NC’s Salvage Station on Saturday. The show, which featured support from Kabaka Pyramid, saw the second son of late reggae legend Bob Marley play on against the forces of nature as a rainstorm pelted the outdoor Western North Carolina venue.

Marley has ridden the kinky reggae rhythms on his Babylon By Bus Tour from its origin at Cali Roots in late May through a special engagement days later with his brother Ziggy Marley at Red Rocks Amphitheatre celebrating their father’s music. The year-long celebration of what would have marked Bob’s 75th birthday continued on Saturday at Salvage Station as Stephen honored his dad’s legacy as well as forged his own path with his original compositions.
