Pigeons Playing Ping Pong will make the rounds this fall for an extensive tour. In addition to several festival dates and Phish afterparties, the rapidly rising jam band will make notable stops at the Howlin’ Wolf in New Orleans (their first ever NOLA appearance), the Cutting Room in NYC and the 9:30 Club in DC. The band will also hit the Lincoln Theater in Raleigh, NC for a Halloween throwdown along with Big Something.

Additionally, We reported earlier this week that Dave Grohl brought out his doctor to sing “Seven Nation Army” with the Foo Fighters at Fenway Park. As it turned out, Dr. Lew Schon just so happens to be the father of Pigeons guitarist Jeremy Schon! Video has surfaced of Dr. Schon joining his son on stage last Halloween:
