Pigeons Playing Ping Pong has announced the return of Domefest in 2022. The festival will head to Legend Valley in Thornville, OH from May 19th–21st.

This marks the first three-night Domefest since 2019’s festivities at Marvin’s Mountaintop in Masontown, WV. Following the event’s cancellation in 2020 due to the ongoing pandemic, Pigeons hosted a virtual festival, aptly named Homefest. Members Greg Ormont (guitar/vocals), Jeremy Schon (guitar), Ben Carrey (bass), and Alex Petropulos (drums) followed up the three-day virtual event with a two-day, socially-distant festival in 2021, Domefest: Party In The Pods. That event marked the first time a Domefest event had taken place at Legend Valley.

“It’ll have been three long years since we last basked in the full immersive spirit of Domefest, three nights of camping and all,” said PPPP frontman Greg Ormont in a press release. “Coming off last year’s epic Party In The Pods at Legend Valley, we can’t wait to bring the complete experience of Domefest to those amazing grounds and celebrate the people we love in style. With the help of our new partners at All Good Presents, we’re confident that this year’s reunion of The Flock will be our biggest and best one yet.”

A limited allotment of early bird tickets, including “High Flyer” VIP passes, go on sale here this Friday, December 10th, at 10 a.m. ET. Head to the official Domefest website for more information about the 2022 event.
