Pink Floyd has shared another recording to appear on the band’s forthcoming archival box set, The Later Years, which will feature a large mix of studio and live album tracks from the latter part of the band’s career without bassist Roger Waters.

The latest track shared from the band’s 16-disc audiovisual box set is that of a demo recording of “High Hopes”, the closing track of Pink Floyd’s 1994 The Division Bell album. As mentioned by Consequence of Sound, the early recording of the 1994 track features slightly different lyrics than what appeared on the final version, in addition to a notable change in the mixing levels along with the total lack of drum tracks or any rhythm section at all.

As previously reported, The Later Years will contain up to 13 hours of previously unreleased audio, in addition to “audiovisual material” showcasing the band’s 1989 performance in Venice and their 1990 concert in Knebworth, England. The deluxe box set will also include an exclusive 60-page hard-backed photo book and other memorabilia including tour passes, stickers, and posters printed to replicate the originals from those eras.
