Psychedelic funk-fusion group, Pink Talking Fish has announced a second drive-in show on Sunday, September 6th at West Yarmouth, MA’s Yarmouth Drive-In.

The band’s announcement comes after their previous announcement of their first drive-in event at Swanzey, NH’s Drive-In Live on Friday, July 31st. Both shows will feature the band—comprised of Eric Gould on bass, Richard James on keyboards, Zack Burwick on drums, and Cal Kehoe on guitar—performing live onstage as fans tune into the drive-in’s dedicated FM radio station and dance at their car, instilling social distancing measures.

“It’s a perfect platform for musicians who are itching to play, for live music lovers who miss what they love and you can bring your own mozzarella sticks and snacks from home, all while being as safe as possible! You dang right we’re excited,” Burwick said.

Last month, Gould launched his Curbside Concerts, allowing music-lovers across the country to book musicians to play out in front of their homes. As the answer of when live concerts will come back remains uncertain, socially-distanced drive-in shows and personal at-home performances are a great “new normal” alternative to keeping live music alive.

The band will host a live Facebook Q&A on Wednesday, July 29th talking about what they’ve been doing over quarantine, and further details on their upcoming drive-in shows. Following their live Q&A, the band will be premiering their performance from Fairfield, CT’s The Warehouse at FTC from September 20th, 2019.

Tickets purchased will allow up to four people per car, with additional ticket add-ons for up to seven people per car. Tickets still remain for Pink Talking Fish’s first drive-in show of the summer on July 31st here. For tickets to Pink Talking Fish’s Labor Day weekend drive-in show on September 6th, head here.
