Baltimore funk-jam four-piece Pigeons Playing Ping Pong is on a roll. The band recently completed an incredible two-night run last weekend with Papadosio at Covington, KY’s Madison Theater for Resonance Reconstructed. This weekend, guitarist/vocalist Scrambled Greg, guitarist Jeremy Schon, bassist Ben Carrey, and drummer Alex Petropulos (as well as “fifth Beatle” lighting designer Manny Newman) will host their annual home-grown festival, Domefest, set to take place at Fort Riverdale Farm in Bedford, PA from Thursday, May 18th – Saturday, May 20th.

As they prepare for the 2017 edition of Domefest (featuring The Main SqueezeConsider The SourceAqueousThe Fritz and more, as well as a Scrambled Greg solo set), the band has released a pro-shot video of “Somethin For Ya” from their performance at the Boulder Theatre in Boulder, CO this past January during their nationwide “DopaPong” tour with Boston-based jam favorites Dopapod. Check it out below:

Pigeons have covered a lot of ground in a relatively short time, going from playing small local shows in Baltimore, to hosting their own festival and touring nationwide, to earning spots at top-tier events like Lockn’ Festival and Jam Cruise in just a few short years. A few weeks ago, the band released a clip featuring baby-faced (and short-haired) Scrambled Greg and Jeremy Schon covering Michael Jackson‘s “Billy Jean” at the first show they ever played together as “Pigeons Playing Ping Pong” in 2007. You can watch the clip below, via the band’s YouTube page:
