Last month, Live For Live Music premiered “The Way”, an original single from the eclectic funk-rock group ORGŌNE. The lively recording acted as the second single to appear ahead of their new full-length studio album, Connection, out this Friday (September 25th) via their own newly-launched imprint 3 Palm Records. The album marks the group’s first full-length effort since 2019’s Reasons, and also includes the previously shared single, “The Vice Yard”, released back in the winter.

Today, Live For Live Music is thrilled to offer fans the exclusive first listen of Connection ahead of its arrival on Friday.

Connection can be described simply by its name,” drummer Sam Halterman said of their latest release. “With our passion, our love, and the souls of our identity, we came together to create something that connects with all of us: the music. And that is what Connection is an example of: the bonds we have within Orgōne and our extended family are real and true.”

Guitarist Sergio Rios also added, “‘Connection’ is truly the culmination of developing the Orgone sound and wanting to collaborate with great artists and peers we adore and have a kinship with. It’s been a labor of love to present these songs to fans and the rest of the world and we’re stoked to usher in a new wave of production and writing for the band. It’s universal–Connection is what fuels our hearts. We are so proud of this collection of soulful songs and messages, and all the amazing musicians who helped create it. There’s so much more to come as we slowly build back into the communal experience of a proper live show again.”

Connection also serves as the first release in a new series of records ORGŌNE has planned for their new label, 3 Palm Records. As Rios explained in August, “Each has its own sonic and thematic identity, but will deliver the warm and raw soul/funk/dance music that ORGŌNE is known for.”
