The Rolling Stones will be celebrating their 50th anniversary with the release of their new documentary Crossfire Hurricane. The retrospective will span their entire careers, from the early days of playing local gigs as a blues cover band all the way to their sold-out stadium and arena shows. From screaming girls to, well, more screaming girls and on, the film combines extensive historical footage to commentaries by current and former band members.
The release of Crossfire Hurricane comes in the midst of speculation around a potential 50th anniversary tour for the band. Most recently, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, and Ron Wood were confirmed to be in the studio together.
Crossfire Hurricane will debut on October 18th at the London Film Festival and will be broadcast by satellite to over 250 cinemas across Europe. HBO will air Crossfire Hurricane on November 15th.
