Queens of the Stone Age accept former Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl after announcing that the Foo Fighters would be taking a hiatus.  Dave Grohl is set to re-join for the recording of their new album, and it’s subsequent tour. Bandleader Josh Homme told the BBC that the band is nearing completion of their latest album, which aims to be released in 2013.

Grohl last played drums on Queens of the Stone Age’s 2002 modern classic, Songs for the Deaf.
