Queens of the Stone Age have just released the first song titled “My God Is The Sun” from their upcoming sixth studio release “…Like Clockwork,” which is due out this June. This album will mark the band’s first studio album since 2007′s “Era Vulgaris.” The much anticipated album will include appearences by Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor, Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears, Brody Dalle, Elton John, and most recently announced the Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner. Dave Grohl will also be drumming for the album in studio only.

“My God Is The Sun” was first introduced to the world at Lollapallooza Brasil on March 30th, 2013, a live recording of which has been circulating the web. Zane Lowe’s Radio 1 show will premiere the song tonight but it is now available via iTunes as of 2:40pm (EST) or 11:40am (PDT), their time. Check it out via their website at http://www.mygodisthesun.com/ or below! The song has a catchy chorus and it rocks. It was cool to hear it live but as usual, their studio work is impeccable. You won’t be dissapointed.
