Jack White recently announced the return of The Raconteurs, one of his former projects, for a new album slated for release this year. The Raconteurs consists of White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence, and Patrick Keeler. The new album will mark The Raconteurs’ first release in more than a decade, serving as a follow-up to 2008’s Consolers of the Lonely.
Today, the band has begun rolling out official tour dates, bringing them to Europe for late-May and early-June concerts. The tour will kick off with the band playing in support of The Strokes at All Points East festival in London, before heading on to Paris, Brussels, Cologne, and Berlin. The group is also confirmed to play Heartland in Denmark, Orange Warsaw Festival and Best Kept Secret in Poland.
Last week, the quartet announced that they will headline White’s Third Man Records’ 10th-anniversary celebration in Nashville, TN on April 6th–marking The Raconteurs’ first live performance since 2011. The evening will also feature performances by Lillie Mae, Craig Brown Band, Teddy & The Rough Riders, The Dirtbombs, The Gories, Detroit Cobras, Quintron & Miss Pussycat, Soledad Brothers, and Todd Albright. Special guests at the festival will include Margo Price, Alison Mosshart, Carla Azar, Joshua Hedley, Dave Buick and more.
Keep your fingers crossed for more North American dates to be added next, and head to The Raconteur’s Facebook for more updates.
