Radiohead have announced a batch of 2018 summer tour dates in North America. The English rock band will kick things off at Chicago’s United Center on Saturday, July 7, then New York City’s Madison Square Garden for three nights, before heading to Canada for two nights at Montrea’s Bell Centre and Toronto’s Air Canada Centre. Thom Yorke and co. will return stateside to continue their North American tour at Detroit’s Little Caesars Arena, Columbus’s Schottenstein Center, Cincinnati’s US Bank Arena, Pittsburgh’s PPG Paints Arena, two nights at Boston’s TD Garden, and will conclude with two nights at Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center. Tickets for the upcoming Radiohead concert dates go on sale February 23, with the NYC and Canada dates opening up on February 24. Head to the W.A.S.T.E. website for more information.
The new North America dates are in addition to the previously announced South American tour dates in April, which will see the band in Santiago, Chile; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Lima, Peru; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; São Paulo, Brazil; and Bogotá, Colombia throughout April. All of the shows beyond the opener will be part of a traveling festival, called Soundhearts. The opening Chile show is part of the SUE Festival, where Radiohead will play alongside Flying Lotus and Junun, guitarist Jonny Greenwood‘s side-project.
