Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello was accidentally tackled onstage by venue security during the band’s concert at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, which also featured hip-hop heavy hitters Run the Jewels, on Saturday.

The incident occurred as RATM, now in the midst of the extensive 12-country, 51-date Public Service Announcement tour with Run the Jewels, played the band’s 1992 hit and Guitar Hero favorite “Killing in the Name”. After a stage-crasher jumped onstage, venue security leapt into action to protect the band, but the security guard seemed to lose his balance as he crashed into Morello midway through the song.

Morello fell forward off the stage with the much larger security officer tumbling behind him. The two struggled to get up as Morello’s guitar rang out uncontrolled. Vocalist Zack de la Rocha, who is still performing seated after suffering an onstage foot injury at the second show of the tour, stopped the performance to check on his bandmate. Morello quickly stood up and enthusiastically gestured to the crowd indicating that he was okay, drawing laughter from de la Rocha. “Let’s take care of one another, now,” the singer said as the band restarted “Killing in the Name” from the top.
