On Tuesday, fan-favorite jamgrass act Railroad Earth announced a headlining performance at the new Mission Ballroom in Denver, CO.
Railroad Earth’s debut at the Mission Ballroom is set for Saturday, February 1st, 2020. Horseshoes & Hand Grenades will offer support, leading into one set of pure Railroad Earth and one set of Railroad Earth with special guest Peter Rowan performing Old & In The Way.
Formed in 1973, Old & In The Way was a bluegrass group comprised of Rowan (guitar, vocals), Vassar Clements (fiddle), Jerry Garcia (banjo, vocals), David Grisman (mandolin, vocals), and John Kahn (bass). The band released their debut Old & In The Way album in 1975, which went on to become one of the best selling bluegrass albums of all time.
