Railroad Earth has announced the launch of “Railroad Radio” for some fast-pickin’ bluegrass hoedowns for fans at home.

Amid the ongoing cancellations of tours and festivals from the COVID-19 pandemic, musicians and bands across the world have been coming up with innovative ways to ensure the music never stops. The popularity of live streaming and premiering past concert footage has skyrocketed across all genres, directly bringing music to the screens of fans during at-home quarantines.

The bluegrass five-piece will broadcast special summer performances every Thursday night throughout the month of April to gather their fans and Hobo community together to engage and dance to some jamgrass tunes from the comfort and safety of their homes. Railroad Earth will kick off “Railroad Radio” on Thursday, April 9th at 8 p.m. ET with their 2019 Blue Ox Festival performance in collaboration with Jamgrass TV.

“We thought this would be a good time to share some more carefree moments when nights together under the stars were something we could take for granted. We hope the next few weeks of festival sets bring comfort and a place to gather until we can do so again,” Railroad Earth drummer and vocalist Carey Harmon said.
