New Orleans’ own Rebirth Brass Band has announced an intimate performance at Drom, on Friday August 1st. No more than 300 tickets will be sold for the concert, so you’d better act quickly!
The concert comes as a follow-up to last week’s hugely successful Nolafunk Crawfish and Music Festival on Governor’s Island, where Rebirth gave a smashing headline performance to a sold-out 3,500-person crowd. The band remains true to their New Orleans sound, while incorporating elements of funk and hip-hop to create a unique groove. Perhaps it’s that undeniable Rebirth sound that propelled this brass band from the streets of the French Quarter to stages and festival all across the globe… whatever it is, we’re certainly excited to see them at this intimate performance.
