The Red Hot Chili Peppers kicked off an extensive 2017 tour last night, performing at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX. The Peppers have dozens of dates plotted for 2017, which will take them to almost every major city in America, not to mention other continents as well. With such a long road ahead, the band dove into their material head first, playing some old classics, new favorites, and one rarity as well.
The show included the first performance of “Breaking The Girl” since 2012, a soulful jam off their pivotal Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991) album. The song came right in the middle of the set, keeping up the fun during their famously high-energy performances.
