LCD Soundsystem, boygenius, and Steve Lacy will help launch the Re:SET concert series this summer at 12 outdoor venues around the U.S.
Each of the three headlining acts has curated a full day of music for fans. Appearing alongside Brooklyn’s finest LCD Soundsystem are The xx‘s Jamie xx, Britain’s angriest chart-toppers IDLES, New Orleans bounce music pioneer Big Freedia, experimental multi-instrumentalist L’Rain, and more. Newly reactivated supergroup boygenius—comprised of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, and Lucy Dacus—will lead a bill featuring rising indie artists Clairo, Dijon, and Bartees Strange. Finally, hit-making singer/guitarist Steve Lacy will broaden the series to include fellow genre-bending multi-hyphenates James Blake, Toro y Moi, and Fousheé.
In this pioneering tour format, each of the three unique bills will travel the series’ 4-market, 12-venue circuit throughout the month of June. Each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the series will set up shop at three different venues in a given region of the country and the three band-curated lineups will rotate through those venues.
For example, the Re:SET series will kick off in California at Stanford’s Frost Amphitheater, Los Angeles’ Brookside at the Rose Bowl, and San Diego’s Thrive Park at Snapdragon Stadium. On Friday, June 2nd, LCD Soundsystem’s multi-artist bill will play in Stanford, Steve Lacy and company will play L.A., and boygenius and the gang will perform in San Diego. The following night, Saturday, June 3rd, LCD Soundsystem will move its show to San Diego, Steve Lacy will be in Stanford, and boygenius will play in L.A. Finally, Sunday, June 4th will have LCD in L.A., Lacy in San Diego, and boygenius in Stanford.
Other regions/venues featured on the tour itinerary include Atlanta, GA (Central Park), New Orleans, LA (Festival Grounds at City Park), and Dallas, TX (Texas Trust CU Theatre Grounds) on June 9th, 10th, and 11th; New York, NY (Forest Hills Stadium), Columbia, MD (Merriweather Post Pavilion), and Boston, MA (The Stage at Suffolk Downs) on June 16th, 17th, and 18th; and Nashville, TN (The Great Lawn in Centennial Park), Chicago, IL (Riis Park), and Columbus, OH (KEMBA Live! Festival Site) on June 23rd, 24th, and 25th.

From promoter AEG Presents, Re:SET eschews the typical headlining amphitheater concert by bringing an array of top and rising artists to outdoor venues across the country for leisurely, daylong events featuring full sets from every act on one stage with no conflicting performances.
“We challenged ourselves to conceive an event that would give both the artists and the fans a different experience,” said President of Global Touring and Talent at AEG Presents, Gary Gersh. “At the end of the day, they both want the same thing: great locations, incredible sound, fantastic sightlines, and the best local options for food and drinks. Re:SET is a very fairly priced, artist-driven weekend where you can hang with friends and enjoy an evening of amazing music.”
