RETROSPEKT has announced the lineup for a charity live stream event, set to raise the bar of online production. The live stream, set for July 11th and 12th, is orchestrated by Ideaison as a way of also amplifying underrepresented voices in the music industry.

The virtual concert will feature headlining performances from Anabel EnglundGoldfish, Loud Luxury, SNBRN, SOFI, TUKKER, The Knocks, and Vintage Culture alongside many other artists.

The driving idea behind RETROSPEKT was also to explore innovative ways of broadcasting concerts. All of the performances are filmed using cinematic production at the Beehive in Van Nuys, CA on four immersive stages designed by renowned mixed media artists. In addition to the music, each stage will also feature immersive art, culture, poetry, and dancing to further the concert experience. Additionally, some artists will perform via Wave, a virtual reality innovation that transposes artists onto a digital stage in real time as they perform. On top of all the music, RETROSPEKT will also raise money for To Write Love on Her Arms and MusiCares.

“RETROSPEKT was created in the wake of the COVID-19 destruction to the music industry and designed to bring our music community together by supporting underrepresented artists and empowering them to speak in an organic and creative way,” said Lauren Kashuk, founder and creative director of Ideaison. “This event is our way of coping with shared trauma by creating something positive that gives people the power to create, express and operate in our new world. RETROSPEKT supports the artists beyond the stage and integrates our new virtual world with the beloved in-person experience we know fans are craving. The professionals involved in this festival have pulled out every stop, and this experience is sure to incite the range of emotions, similar to your favorite movie.”

This two-day event is available to stream for free Saturday, July 11th beginning at 3 p.m. ET and Sunday, July 12th at 2 p.m. ET. Attendees are encouraged to RSVP here. See the full lineup below.
