The Revivalists have shared the pro-shot video highlighting their cover of The Rolling Stones‘ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want” from their recent headlining performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre back on September 21st.

The band’s live rendition of the well-known tune by The Rolling Stones capped off a 19-song performance at the outdoor Colorado venue. It also acted as the band’s only cover of the night as they treated fans in attendance to 18 originals from throughout their own catalog of rock tunes. The Rolling Stones song seemed to be the perfect choice to send fans home as singer David Shaw did his best to liven up the audience with a feel-good classic rock favorite before the show came to an end.

The cover was also likely a nod to The Revivalists’ performance in Jacksonville, FL on July 19th, when they opened for The Rolling Stones themselves at TIAA Bank Field.
