The Revivalists have released an in-studio video for “Wish I Knew You”, which initially appeared on the band’s 2015 album, Men Amongst Mountains. The band recently reworked the song during a  session at FAME Recording Studio for their Made In Music Shoals EP and documentary, which arrived on January 30th via Loma Vista Recordings.

Much like the previously released video for “You and I”, “Wish I Knew You” sees the chart-topping alt-rock band recording a reworked rendition at the legendary studio in Muscle Shoals, AL. The song begins with a somber piano chord progression before frontman David Shaw adds his distinct, powerful vocals on the first verse. As the song moves into the first chorus, the rest of the band joins in on vocals with excellent harmonization, before the song picks up a bit of speed heading into the second verse. It slows back down to the original tempo for the second round of chorus harmonies. Shaw then takes the song through the last verse ahead of the final chorus which ends the tune.

The video came after an online Easter egg hunt, which led fans through a series of online clues embedded in their previously released videos. Watch the reworked and reimagined rendition of “Wish I Knew You” below.
