The Revivalists have shared the pro-shot live video of their hit song, “Wish I Knew You”, from their recent sold-out headlining performance at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre back on September 21st. As rain poured down on Red Rocks, “Wish I Knew You” closed out the first set of encores at Red Rocks before the band returned for a second encore featuring performances of their own “Soul Fight” and The Rolling Stones‘ “You Can’t Always Get What You Want“.
As vocalist David Shaw explains of the song, “Sometimes it takes someone else to see the things in you that you don’t see yourself, and then from there you can grow together both emotionally and spiritually. ‘Wish I Knew You’ is and will always be a very special song to us. The rain only made it that much more real at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre. In life, there’s always gonna be a storm to weather, but if you see it through you always come out better and stronger on the other side.”
