Recently, singer-songwriter Richard Thompson announced a 2020 solo acoustic winter tour, which will see the musician navigate the Northeast throughout January and February. Thompson continues to tour in support of his eighteenth solo studio album, 13 Rivers, which arrived last September via New West Records.
Thompson’s winter solo acoustic tour begins with a performance at Newark, NJ’s NJPAC on January 17th and ends with a two-night run at New York City’s Symphony Space on February 7th and 8th. The tour will also see Thompson make stops at Princeton, NJ’s McCarter Theatre Center (1/18); Alexandria, VA’s The Birchmere (1/21 &1/22); Albany, NY’s The Swyer at The Egg (1/29); Portsmouth, NH’s Portsmouth Music Hall (1/30); Burlington, VT’s First Unitarian Universalist Society of Burlington (1/31); Fairfield, CT’s The Warehouse at FTC (2/4); and more.
Tickets for all of Richard Thompson’s newly announced dates besides Portsmouth and Fairfield go on sale this Friday, October 11th. Tickets for Fairfield go on sale Sunday, October 13th and Portsmouth on Saturday, October 26th.
