Sunday was a big night for flamenco-inspired duo Rodrigo Y Gabriela, who were awarded their first-ever Grammy win for their 2019 studio album, Mettavolution.
In celebration, the two announced plans for a brief run of shows on Monday, scheduled to take place this March.

The brief run of winter performances will begin on March 11th with a show at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX. The two will remain in Texas for another night before heading south to Mexico for their scheduled appearance at the Vive Latino Festival in Mexico City on March 14th-15th. From there, the tour will continue across Mexico with more shows in Mexico City and Monterrey before the two return Stateside with a performance at the Joy Theatre in New Orleans, LA on March 24th. The tour continues with shows in Alabama and Florida before wrapping on March 28th.

This is quite a moment for us,” Gabriela Quintero added in a statement on Sunday’s Grammy win to go with Monday’s tour announcement. “We are grateful for this opportunity to share this Grammy with our families and fans all over the world, with a big hug and also to our potential fans! After 20 years, and having played all over the world, even for President Obama in The White House, there was something missing — a Grammy. We finally got it.”
