The Rolling Stones will expand their empire as one of the biggest rock bands on the planet by entering the arena of brick-and-mortar retail with their own permanent store set to open in London next month.

The store, to be named RS No. 9 Carnaby, will be that of a partnership with Bravado (Universal Music Group’s merchandise and brand partnerships arm) for the first-of-its-kind business venture. The store will be located at 9 Carnaby St. in London’s Soho neighborhood, with a current opening date set for September 9th.

According to reports, the RS No. 9 Carnaby—which will always have the band’s music playing inside—will be branded as more of a high-end luxury store rather than a simple pop-up shop, and will sell exclusive and contemporary collaboration pieces for men, women, and children. Non-clothing items to be sold at the store will include Rolling Stones-branded glassware developed with Baccarat, chairs and scarves from the Soloist, and raincoats and hats courtesy of Swedish brand Stutterheim.

“Soho has always encapsulated rock ’n’ roll so Carnaby Street was the perfect spot for our own store,” The Rolling Stones said of the store with the announcement. “We are confident this exciting project that our friends at Bravado have created will be an unrivaled experience for everyone to come to London and enjoy.”
