The West Coast is in store for a healthy dose of sacred steel legend Roosevelt Collier, as “The Dr.” prepares to bring a different lineup to each city along the way. The 7-date run will stop in Seattle, WA at Nectar Lounge on Nov. 11th, with additional plays at Bend, OR’s Domino Room, San Francisco, CA’s Boom Boom Room, and Chico, CA’s Lost on Main, among others. Artists joining Collier’s tour along the way will be Cliff Porter (Jelly Bread), Reed Mathis (Electric Beethoven), Jay Cobb (Fruition), Dan “Lebo” Lebowitz (ALO), Chris Littlefield (Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe), and more.

Before heading West, Collier will lead his own Get Down lineup at Brooklyn Comes Alive next weekend (Sept. 23-24), along with over 100+ artists from the scene. For this edition of the Get Down, Collier recruited some of the heaviest hitters from jazz-fusion outfit Snarky Puppy: bassist Michael League, guitarist Bob Lanzetti, and drummer Robert “Sput” Searight (purchase tickets here).
