On Tuesday, The Roots revealed the lineup for their 2019 edition of Roots Picnic, set to take place at a new location—Philadelphia, PA’s The Mann—on Saturday, June 1st.
Host act The Roots will top the lineup with a very special 20th-anniversary performance of their 1999 album, Things Fall Apart, with special guests. In addition, Roots Picnic 2019 will feature performances by H.E.R., 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Davido, Raphael Saadiq vs. Soulquarians, Queen Naija, City Girls, Tank & The Bangas, Bueface, Ari Lennox, Tobe Nwigwe, Moonchild, Black Thought & J.Period Live Mixtape featuring Yasiin Bey, and much more.
Alongside the musical performance lineup, the event has announced a number of special podcast sessions including The Joe Budden Podcast, The Read, Questlove‘s own Questlove Supreme podcast, and much more.
