The Rolling Stones fan site http://www.iorr.org reports today that the Stones have been spotted rehearsing at an undisclosed location in New York City. This comes on the heels of Saturday Night Live officially announcing Mick Jagger as the host of their season finale on May 19.
The Rolling Stones have no confirmed upcoming tour dates, despite the band approaching their 50th anniversary. IORR reported that The Stones rehearsed ‘Fool To Cry’, ‘Jumping Jack Flash’, and ‘Miss You’.
This will be Jagger’s first time hosting the show himself – he co-hosted with the rest of the Rolling Stones in 1978. While the musical performance is still just a rumor, the reports of rehearsal add some legitimacy.
