Run The Jewels have teamed up with British hard-rock duo Royal Blood for a fresh take on “The Ground Below”, one of the new original songs that appeared on the former’s 2020 RTJ4 studio album which arrived free of charge in early June.
Released on Thursday, the “Royal Jewels Mix” version of “The Ground Below” is given plenty of extra sonic ferocity and attitude thanks to the grit of Mike Kerr‘s bass and thunderous drumming from Ben Thatcher. Kerr also adds his own vocal contributions to the high-energy track.
