With film projects and television show productions on hiatus for the foreseeable future, actors like Sam Neill find themselves just as bored as anyone else out of work at the moment. Thankfully, we all have our hobbies to keep us busy these days, and the Jurassic Park actor is no exception.

Always the entertainer, even when he’s not being chased through the long grass by velociraptors, Neill took to his Twitter on Tuesday evening to share a video where he covers Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars‘ 2014 hit, “Uptown Funk” on his ukulele.

Neil’s relaxed take on the uptempo funk/pop song likely won’t earn him a recording contract anytime soon, but does make for a fun, two-minute escape from this dismal reality while watching the dude from Jurassic Park stum away on his miniature instrument. Quarantine is a real pain, and we feel your creative desperation, Sam.

While the cover is impressive, it’s got nothing on David Gilmour‘s home quarantine performances, for which the Pink Floyd guitarist and his entire family put together an entire European bistro-like setup for the newly-launched Polly Samson’s A Theatre For Dreamers web series.
