Samantha Fish Rocks Tipitina’s With “Highway’s Holding Me Now” For Georgia Comes Alive [Watch]

On Saturday, December 26th, 50+ artists and hundreds of thousands of viewers around the world came together for Georgia Comes Alive, a virtual music festival aimed at promoting voter participation in Georgia’s critical Senate runoff elections on January 5th, 2021.

One of the many artists who participated was blues maven Samantha Fish, who performed original scorcher “Highway’s Holding Me Now” from an empty Tipitina’s in New Orleans. Though the song lasted just over four minutes, Fish and her backing ensemble were able to pack the Wild Heart track with plenty of rock swagger. The band’s trio formation amplifies its sound to another degree, as Fish’s blistering guitar riff and solo cut through the speakers. While they performed their Georgia Comes Alive set from an empty club, the energy exuded by Samantha Fish and company onstage got viewers’ adrenaline pumping like a packed arena show.
