[UPDATE]: Same Same But Different (SSBD) on Thursday finalized the festival’s 2022 lineup with an additional headlining performance by GRiZ. The DJ/producer joins fellow headliners Tipper, Vulfpeck, Chromeo (live), and The Glitch Mob who will perform in Lake Perris, CA September 9th–11th.
The newly amended lineup also features new performers Ahee, Lakim, Sunsets, Moon Panda, Jungle Fire, Weir, Helena Holleran, The Brass Cheeks, Daisy Chain Takeover (Player Dave/Fly/Connor Q), TV Broken 3rd Eye Open, Cam Steen, Jesus Gonzalez, Q. Varo, Evan Hatfield, Kaipora, Band of Gringos, Fresh Veggies Micro Brass, Elektric Voodoo, Canvas, Green T, and Mr. Eos.
SSBD also marks one of two remaining shows this year for Tipper, who will headline on Saturday. The lauded electronic artist announced last month that he will only perform at Same Same But Different and the inaugural Secret Dreams festival in Ohio (8/20) due to health reasons.
Organizers have also announced the debut of the CannaBass Oasis, a new waterfront lounge and late-night bass stage where fans 21+ can order flower, pre-rolls, gummies/edibles and cartridges to be delivered to them at the on-site delivery location until 10 p.m. After 1 a.m., the CannaBass Oasis will transform into a late-night stage with bass music performances.

[5/16/22]: Same Same But Different (SSBD) has announced the eclectic artist lineup for its fourth annual event, due to take place in Lake Perris, CA on September 9th–11th.
The three-day event will feature headlining performances by Chromeo on Friday, September 9th, Tipper on Saturday, September 10th, and both Vulfpeck and The Glitch Mob on Sunday, September 11th.
The EDM-leaning lineup features big names like Washed Out, Emancipator, The Brothers Macklovitch (A-Trak and Dave1), Beats Antique, The Polish Ambassador, Manic Focus, GoldFish, The Floozies, and more alongside an eclectic mix of funk, bluegrass, indie, jam, and live electronica acts including Lettuce, NEIL FRANCES, The California Honeydrops, Orgōne, The Brothers Comatose, and more.
SSBD 2022 will host these acts across four stages throughout the weekend alongside “floatopia” beach parties and late-night dancefloors at the main and renegade stages in addition to educational workshops, yoga and wellness activities, arts and crafts, and more led by experts in their fields. Attendees are encouraged to choose one of the event’s many camping packages to best experience all that SSBD has to offer. Additional artists are due to be announced as the event draws closer.

Pre-sale tickets will go on sale to registered users at 1:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, May 19th. General admission tickets will open up to the public at 1:00 p.m. local time on Friday, May 20th.
