Washington Nationals relief pitcher Sean Doolittle is heading into the 2020 season with an endorsement deal with Wilson Sporting Goods, and a brand new Phish-inspired custom glove.

Doolittle unveiled his new glove which pays homage to The Phish From Vermont in a Tweet on Wednesday saying, “I’m so excited to be joining the Wilson Sporting Goods family for the 2020 season. I wanted to do something fun for my first glove so I created a custom Phish-inspired ‘Wilson’ design!”

The World Series champion has been known to enjoy a good time on and off the field, as his previous antics have included putzing around MLB Tonight with a lightsaber after the Nationals won the National League pennant and appearing on NPR‘s ‘Wait Wait… Don’t Tell Me‘ podcast. As for the coming season, Doolittle will be sporting his custom glove, with references to “Duke of Lizards” and “Punch You In The Eye” embroidered on the leather.

As if the glove weren’t enough to prove his devotion, Doolittle also shared photos from his 2019 Spotify Wrapped that confirm his fandom. While Phish and the Grateful Dead are definitely his number one, he also “plays the field” with other artists including MetallicaRage Against The Machine, and Father John Misty.
