After years of rumors, Netherlands based ID&T in conjunction with Live Nation is bringing the super show Sensation to America. On October 26th and 27th, world renowned DJs will perform at an 8 hour spectacle featuring dazzling stage shows and high quality production values. The event will be apart of the grand opening of the new Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York – the new home of the Brooklyn Nets. Tickets go on sale Friday June 8th at 12pm EST.
New York will be treated to Sensation’s ‘Innerspace’ show, which debuted last year in Amsterdam. Sensation is known for having a different and unique theme each year, promising a completely different experience at each event. Besides the world class DJs and production values, Sensation is also known for ‘The Mix’, which is the climax of all Sensation events. ‘The Mix’ is a musical trip through history, featuring a range of new songs as well as classics compiled by one of Sensation’s musical masterminds accompanied by a synchronized show and fireworks display.
Live For Live Music was at the official launch party yesterday at Provacateur where Sensation producers officially announced the date and location of the event. Besides announcing that one DJ had already been confirmed, ID&T refused to name any of the acts, instead choosing to focus on the experience itself. Keep checking back at Live For Live Music for the latest updates as they become available.
