Shakey Graves, Dr. Dog Wrap Two-Night Run At New York City’s Pier 17 [Gallery]

On Sunday, Shakey Graves and Dr. Dog wrapped their weekend stay in New York City with the second of two shows at the Pier 17 rooftop,which overlooks Manhattan’s East River. The two shows at the NYC venue over the weekend marked the latest stop on the two band’s co-headlining summer tour.

Fans filled the relatively new venue on what was a perfect evening in New York City on Sunday as the colors of the sunset were gradually replaced by the sparkling lights of city high-rise buildings which nearly surround the waterfront venue.

The two New York City performances also marked the beginning of the end for the summer tour, which wraps later this week following a show at The Met Philly in Philadelphia, PA on Saturday, September 21st. Tickets for upcoming shows on the tour are still available via the band’s website.
