Sharon Van EttenAngel Olsen, and Julien Baker will join forces this summer for The Wild Hearts Tour. The 20-date trek will see the three singer-songwriters perform across North America in July and August.

The tour begins on July 21st in Vienna, VA before moving through Asheville, NC (7/22) prior to one of only two indoor shows of the run, this one at Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium on July 23rd. After stopping off in Austin, TX (7/25), the consortium of songwriters travels west for stops in Los Angeles, CA (7/29); Berkeley, CA (7/30); Troutdale, OR (8/2); Redmond, WA (8/3); Boise, ID (8/5); Salt Lake City, UT (8/6); Denver, CO (8/7); Minneapolis, MN (8/9); Chicago, IL (8/10); and Kalamazoo, MI (8/11).

The Wild Hearts Tour then crosses over the border for its lone Canadian date in Toronto on August 12th at Massey Hall, the second of two indoor shows of the tour. Van Etten, Olsen, and Baker then wrap things up with shows in Shelburne, VT (8/15); LaFayette, NY (8/16); Boston, MA (8/18); Philadelphia, PA (8/19); and finally New York, NY for Central Park Summerstage (8/21). Spencer. will provide support on select dates.

“Our aim is to strengthen our respective communities and promote camaraderie in the music world in a safe and enjoyable environment,” Sharon Van Etten said in a statement. “We have carefully chosen the venues we think will deliver the best experience for us and our fans. I look up to Angel and have the deepest admiration for Julien and Spencer.. It is an honor, to say the least, to be able to share the stage with such talent on a tour across North America.”

Each artist will play with their own respective band at every stop along the tour. In 2021, Sharon and Angel collaborated on “Like I Used To”, a joint single that drew critical and commercial praise.

“I’m so thrilled to be traveling and playing music alongside Spencer., Julien Baker, and Sharon Van Etten,” Olsen said in a press release. “It’s truly a dream, something to hold and share collaboratively as we get out from under the last few years. I know for fans it’s something different and special too, and for me, it’s sort of like a caravan summer camp-a chance to get to know other artists in a deeper way and talk about music and life and how it affects us all as we move forward. Most of all, I am excited to sing live again, in an open and real way, both alone and together with my tourmates.”

“Sharon and Angel are artists that I have genuinely admired for many years and whose music has honestly informed much of my own writing and music making, and I’m thrilled to be sharing a stage with them every night,” Baker added. “I think after interacting with their recorded work separately so much, it will be special to get to learn from them as we share the space of performance.”
