This week marks the 50th anniversary of the release of Bridge Over Troubled Water, the final album by revered folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. In honor of the anniversary, the duo has released a new live EP, Simo & Garfunkel – Live at Carnegie Hall 1969.

The four-track EP, which arrived on streaming services on Friday, features previously unheard recordings of “Bridge Over Troubled Water”, “So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright”, “The Boxer”, and “Song for the Asking” taped during a performance at New York City’s iconic Carnegie Hall in November of 1969 prior to the album’s release in 1970. While Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel would go on to reunite for various live shows down the road—and record “My Little Town” to appear on both of their post-Simon & Garfunkel solo albums—they never released another collaborative record again after Bridge Over Troubled Water. Thankfully, we now have something “new” to listen to all these years later.
