God bless the Internet.

While much of the busy world of music continues on, full of its comings and goings, tour announcements and album releases, it can be arduous at times to remember which old rockstars still have a pulse these days. Apparently, it’s even a difficult task if for an all-knowing virtual assistant like Apple‘s Siri. It seems Siri doesn’t quite have its music facts up to date, as the somewhat intelligent phone assistant thinks Bob Dylan is dead.

You read that correctly. Siri, which is the fact-checker and digital information hub for millions of iPhone users, actually thinks that Bob Dylan died back on April 24th, 2008, at age 66.

Dylan, now 78-years-young, is obviously not dead and hopefully not knocking on heaven’s door anytime soon. As of Thursday afternoon, any iPhone user with access to Siri can test this error by simply asking the digital assistant, “How old is Bob Dylan?” or “Is Bob Dylan Alive?”

Last week, Bob Dylan announced that he will head out on a 28-city fall tour between mid-October and late November. That’s a pretty impressive endeavor for someone who passed away 11 years ago, though thanks to the current state of hologram tours, he would be far from the only “dead” musician on the road today.

Maybe it’s possible that Kate Blanchett has continued her impressive and very convincing portrayal of Dylan as she did in the 2007 film, I’m Not There, by just staying in devoted character whilst in public. Perhaps the only way to really know is to ask “Bob” himself, if anyone has access to the private musician’s current whereabouts. Anyone?

Regardless of the technological error, Dylan—or someone acting as Dylan—is set to head out on tour this fall. Head to Dylan’s website for the full listing of tour dates and tickets info.
