The Philadelphia waterfront is getting some perfect summertime music, as Slightly Stoopid will bring their reggae infused tunes to the Festival Pier at Penn’s Landing on July 10th. Gearing up for a brand new release on June 30th, Slightly Stoopid will be rocking tunes from Meanwhile…Back At The Lab along with their timeless classics.

The show starts off with The Expendables, a California band that plays some sweet California tunes. With a mix of ska, rock, punk, and reggae, the group has endured with great music and stage energy since 1997, and are a vital part of the Stoopid Records label. Afterwards, Dirty Heads will hit the stage, bringing their unique hybrid hip hop and ska punk sound to Festival Pier. Also from California, these two bands will set the mood by laying down some great summertime jams.

Who better to bring it all home than Slightly Stoopid? The band has been deeply connected with the fun-loving West Coast sound since 1995, when Bradley Nowell of Sublime signed them to his new Skunk Records label. Ten albums later and the band continues to impress, playing high-profile gigs worldwide. On the heels of their new album, Meanwhile…Back At The Lab (due out June 30th), Stoopid will be in full force when they hit Festival Pier in July.

The three bands will get together and get down on July 10th in Philadelphia. More details about the show can be seen below:
