On Wednesday night, Smashing Pumpkins served as the musical guest on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.
The band performed “Knights Of Malta” off of 2018’s Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 / LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun., the band’s tenth studio album and the first to feature Billy Corgan, James Iha and Jimmy Chamberlin since 2000. Smashing Pumpkins released the album via Corgan’s own label, Martha’s Music, and was produced by heavyweight Rick Rubin and recorded at his Shangri La Studios.
Dressed in all black, Corgan, Iha, and Chamberlain were joined by touring members Jack Bates, Jeff Schroeder, and Katie Cole along with a trio of backing vocalists for their appearance on The Late Show.
