On Sunday, Pharrell Williams announced the artist lineup for his new event in Virginia Beach, Something In The Water Festival, set to take place from April 26th–28th at the Virginia Beach Convention Center.
Something In The Water Festival will feature performances by an eclectic group of artists and speakers including Travis Scott, Migos, Dave Matthews Band, Missy Elliott, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Pharrell & Friends, Janelle Monae, Maggie Rogers, Mac DeMarco, Lil Uzi Vert, Jaden Smith, Jhene Aiko, Diplo, Deepak Chopra, Radiant Childern, DRAM, Geoffrey Canada, Trap Karaoke, Ferg, SZA, Pusha T, Kaws, Masego, John-Robert, J Balvin, Virgil Abloh, Pop Up Church Service, Leikeli47, and Rosalía.
The event is scheduled for the last weekend of April, which is traditionally when College Beach Weekend is informally held. According to Virginia Beach’s Assistant to the City Manager, Brian Solis, in a local news report, live music performances will occur that Friday from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Saturday noon to 11 p.m. Other events are also planned throughout the weekend.
The longtime hitmaker revealed the Something In The Water lineup for the inaugural event by way of an inauspicious video posted to social media on Sunday evening. Watch the video below:
