And the wait is over! Soulive just announced their special guests for their annual BOWLIVE run at Brooklyn Bowl. According to Soulive’s Facebook page:
“Soulive is proud to announce the line-up for their 4th annual BOWLIVE residency at the world-renowned Brooklyn Bowl. During each of the 8 shows (March 7-9 & 12-16), Soulive will be joined by a wide array of special guests including pedal steel guitar-wiz Robert Randolph, founding members of music pioneers The Meters George Porter Jr. & Leo Nocentelli, funk and soul legend Lee Fields, Los Lobos singer and guitarist David Hidalgo, Marco Benevento, The North Mississippi Allstars’ Luther & Cody Dickinson, turtablist DJ Logic, Royal Family compatriots Nigel Hall, Alecia Chakour, and The Shady Horns, as well as several surprise guests who have been confirmed but won’t be announced until they hit the stage. Hand-picked opening acts include The London Souls, Alecia Chakour Band, Kung Fu and Cochemea Gastelum: The Electric Sound of Johnny Arrow.”
BOWLIVE has become one of the staples of, not only Brooklyn Bowl, but the New York music scene in general over the last couple of years. Every night, fans can expect to see incredible guest appearances and sit-ins for what is considered to be one of the best residencies in country. It looks like Soulive is pulling out all the stops this year, and taking it to 11! We will see you all there!
