Southern Avenue will return to performing with an outdoor “Backyard” performance in Franklin, TN scheduled for next Friday, September 18th. Announced on Thursday, the socially-distant performance will include an opening set from Jesse Lynn Madera, and will stream live on LiveFrom.Events and StageIt. The music is scheduled to begin promptly at 7:15 p.m. CT, with Southern Avenue’s set to begin at 8:10 p.m. CT.

The band’s announcement did not state whether or not a limited number of fans would be allowed in attendance, as it appears to be a virtual event only. Virtual access to watch the livestream will be donation-based, with a portion of all proceeds raised set to benefit the artist, their crew, and teams.

Since the shutdown of all live events back in March, Southern Avenue drummer Tikyra Jackson was recognized with Governor status for the Recording Academy’s Memphis chapter. The drummer shared her debut solo single just last month with “No More Fear”.
