When we last posted about the Official Umphrey’s McGee Afterparty, we happened to mention that the show might include a very special guest. As it turns out, that guest is none other than the keyboardist from Umphrey’s McGee himself, Joel Cummins.
In what will be a Space Disco reunion, Cummins will join Wyllys, along with guitarist Chris Cartelli of Newton Crosby, for some wild, electrojammy music. Space Disco performed at several UM afterparties in 2012, and both Wyllys and Cummins are excited to perform live together again. To quote Wyllys, “This already feels too right.”
Yes, it most certainly does.
The show will be held at B.B. King Blues Club, after the 1/17 Umphrey’s show, with doors opening at midnight. The band FiKus will be performing as well. See you there!
