Spafford was in Brooklyn, NY on Friday for a sold-out performance to open their three-night run at Brooklyn Bowl with support from Eggy as part of the band’s ongoing winter tour.

Over the span of two sets and an encore, the rock quartet treated fans to a mix of originals along with a pair covers which showcased their best attempts at the Grateful Dead and The President of the United States of America.

The band wasted no time in getting the packed Brooklyn venue dancing as they took the stage to open the show with a take on the Grateful Dead’s fan-favorite funk anthem, “Shakedown Street”. From there, the first set of the night continued with “Mind’s Unchained”, “Hollywood” into “The Remedy”, and “Plans”.

Following a set break, Spafford returned to open the second half of the show with “America”, and continued with “Doghouse” into “Part ii”, and “My Road (My Road)”. The second cover of the night came with the band started into The Presidents of the United States of America’s “Peaches”, followed by a set-closing performance of “Galisteo Way”. The show came to a close with a one-song encore performance of “The Reprise”.
